Work at summer camp. The Salvation Army Camp Kuratli is looking for counselors 18+ who love to work with elementary age kids. The kids that get to come to Camp Kuratli often time come to camp sponsored and get to come practically free. For many of them this is their first time even hearing about God and who he is. Being a camp counselor would mean that you could have a huge impact on kids lives this summer and their relationship with God.Qualifications: -Live in a cabin and provide consistent and active supervision, promote group unity, and learn about each individual camper’s need. -Guide, direct, and monitor an assigned cabin of campers during scheduled daily camp activities and programs such as cabin clean up, meal-times, evening activities, transitional times and overnight.    -Communicate regularly with the Lead Counselor, conveying needs and concerns regarding campers.    -Handle any behavior and/or emotional issues under the guidance of the lead counselor.    -Supervise, actively engage, and lead campers during assigned program time when on-duty.    -Respond to, and provide opportunities for discussion of, individual or group problems or concerns among campers.    -Develop and lead age-appropriate cabin activities.    -Lead Bible devotions daily and spiritually counsel campers.    -Turn in all camper related forms in a timely manner, such as seeker forms, incident forms and safety reports.    -Develop and implement cabin rules that are compliant with camp policies and procedures.    -Set a good example for campers and others including cleanliness, punctuality, sportsmanship, and table manners.   
-Adhere to camp health codes and safety guidelines for all campers.    -Lead, counsel, and direct an assigned Counselor in Training (CIT) staff regarding your assigned campers and activities.    -Report immediately any issues or concerns regarding assigned CIT to the Lead Counselor.    -Foster and nurture Christian faith and discipleship in visible, fruitful ways in campers and CIT staff.    -Encourage respect for personal property, camp equipment and facilities.    -Work alongside and in agreement with the Divisional Youth Leaders, other divisional officers and special guests as directed.    -Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all staff, volunteers and campers.    -Encourage adherence to camp & Salvation Army policies and procedures.    -Ensure and provide for the supervision and physical/emotional safety of campers and staff.    -Participate and/or assist in all summer camp programs as required e.g. chapel, staff meetings, campfire, camp wide games, night-watch, free-time, electives, rise and shine duty, etc.    -Ensure and assist in the cleanliness of your cabin and outside area.    -Perform any other duties as assigned by the program director, Divisional Youth Secretaries or camp director.If interested, Go to this link:
