Pastor/Director of Women’s Ministry Countryside Community Church 
Sherwood, OR
To make as many fully-devoted followers of Christ as possible by: gathering for Word-centered worship, fellowship and prayer, equipping Christians to participate in the mission of disciple making, and sending them out to proclaim the Gospel and demonstrate God’s love both locally and globally.
Countryside Community Church is looking for an individual who is being called by God to serve as our Pastor/Director to lead our Women’s Ministry.
Reports to:  Executive Pastor
Supervises:  Administrative Assistant to Women’s Ministry (part-time)
Position is non-exempt, paid hourly with an expected level of working hours of 25 per week on average.
Purpose:· To inspire and lead our discipleship ministry with and for women in harmony with the mission of the overall church.
·To develop, train, equip and disciple a team of leaders who will in turn be able to reach the lost, disciple the found, and inspire all women to live as fully devoted followers of Christ.
· To join a team of pastors in leading the flock given to us at Countryside.
Responsibilities:·  Oversee the development and implementation of the various women’s ministry programs:
o Weekly Bible studies
o Annual Retreato Clothing Exchange
o Women’s Ministry Serve Days
o Other Special events connected with the overall church
· Invite, evaluate, guide, and equip a team of volunteer leaders based on spiritual gifts and abilities.
·Serve as the leader of the Women’s Leadership Team.
·Provide individual pastoral counseling and spiritual mentoring/discipleship to women 
·Staff responsibilities
o Regularly attend and participate as requested in weekend worship services.
o Attend regular pastoral (2x weekly) and leadership team (bi-weekly) meetings.
o Participate in weekly prayer for the church body.
o Serve on special committees as needed.
· Bachelor’s degree with a Bible or ministry major preferred and/or strong Bible knowledge with experience teaching from the Bible.
· Spiritual development and discipleship experience, specifically with women.
· Ability to perform event management duties including acting as the spokesperson for the ministry.
· Knowledge of or willingness to learn basic tech support for the ministry·

· Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate people to action.
· Personable and approachable.
· Team player.

25 hours a week

Start Date : July 1, 2021 or as negotiated
