Sound Tech

A/V Technicians: Audio/sound engineers and visual equipment operators are important members of the Worship & Arts Ministry Team. Visual equipment operators and sound engineers are to attend the weekly rehearsal if possible, and asked to arrive 15 minutes early so as to get the sound system and equipment setup prior to the beginning of rehearsal. Sound engineers must be alert and responsive, especially during the worship, and should be ready to make adjustments in a quick and timely manner! Work with the Worship Pastor for training. During practice: Listen to the house mix, and make adjustments to enhance the mix. Take the iPad out of the booth and listen around to room to continue to make live mix adjustments. Listen to the LiveStream mix to make mix adjustments. Adjust cameras to fit the team on stage for the week. . After practice: Work with media operator to get a sound check on any videos for the service. Sound check the speaker’s mic. See pre-service checklist to make sure everything is ready to go. During the service As mentioned above, be alert and responsive, and be ready to make adjustments in a quick and timely manner. Check the Livestream to make sure Levels and Mix are good. Use the StreamDeck to change cameras as needed from Worship Team to the Speaker.
