Looking for a staycation over Spring Break? Our family is heading out of town for Spring Break + an extra week and are hoping to find a win-win situation for somebody!
The details:
We have a home in Newberg (former Airbnb) that needs a caretaker while we are gone. Our 3 small Maltipoos, flock of chickens, plants and a few aquariums need someone to hang out with them, but our budget has been unexpectedly shrunk recently so we are trying to cut costs by not hiring a house-sitter. We are hoping that this would be a fun opportunity for somebody looking to stay in the area over spring break without spending money on an airbnb or hotel. This is not a paid position but we hope the perks could be worth it!
You get: Full access to our 4000 sq ft home, including a hot tub, huge private yard, washer/dryer, unlimited wifi, plus 3 cute dogs to cuddle and all you can eat fresh backyard eggs!
We get: a caretaker for our home & pets plus ease of mind
When: March 23-April 10; must sleep in the home those nights
Who: Responsible, easy-going person or small group of folks who enjoy animals. There are 2 king size beds readily available, so a group of up to 4 could stay.
About us: We are a family of 7 who love reading, learning, traveling & showing the world to our 5 kids. GFU alums who came for the school but stayed for the community!
