We are looking for a reliable nighttime caregiver for Estela, a sweet 4-year-old with medical challenges due to her KAT6 gene mutation, who requires overnight monitoring. This position is 1–2 nights per week, with nights and times flexible depending on your availability week to week.
Location: Tigard, OR (about 23 minutes from campus)
Pay: Starting at $24/hour
Overnight Responsibilities:
Stay awake during the shift
Suction her tracheostomy (trach) as needed (usually minimal while she’s sleeping)
Refill her feeding formula bag when needed
Estela is in bed the entire shift and usually sleeps through the night. When she is awake, she is happy and content in bed.
Setup:
The nursery has a comfortable setup with a TV and Xbox, and the shift is generally very calm with excellent study time. It’s a great job for students who want a chill environment while getting homework done. Free coffee available — perfect for college students.
Additional Information:
Parent is always home and available down the hallway if needed
Training provided for trach and G-tube care
Must be 18+ years old
Paid position through a DSP agency
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on medical experience in a supportive home environment.
