An independent elderly couple in the Beaverton/Tigard area is seeking an individual or couple who are able to preform "Support Person" (personal care assistant) duties in exchange for housing. Hours are a minimum of 2-3 hours of work each day, six days a week ( to include taking to church on Sundays using their car). Duties include light housekeeping, occasional yardwork, errands, some personal care, occasional light help with technology, and transportation. Regular compensation will include use of an attached one-bedroom apartment (with separate entrance), shared use of washer/dryer, and all utilities included. Additional help may be needed, so hourly pay to compensate for their healthcare needs will be considered - and agreed upon - as needed and available. Long-term candidates are preferred.
