An independent elderly couple in the Beaverton/Tigard area is seeking an individual or couple who are able to preform "Support Person" (personal care assistant) duties in exchange for housing. Hours are a minimum of 2-3 hours of work each day, six days a week ( to include taking to church on Sundays using their car). Duties include light housekeeping, occasional yardwork, errands, some personal care, occasional light help with technology, and transportation. Regular compensation will include use of an attached one-bedroom apartment (with separate entrance), shared use of washer/dryer, and all utilities included. Description: We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to provide childcare for our four energetic kids during the summer months. Our children range in age from 1 to 11 years old. Our ideal candidate would be nurturing, energetic, and experienced in caring for multiple children. Duties include supervising activities, preparing lunch and ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Description: The Mid-Columbia Chapter, located in The Dalles, Oregon, encompasses a six county area in rural eastern Oregon. The chapter straddles the Columbia River with two counties in Washington State and four in Oregon. The area is rural with its population spread out but this thriving chapter knows that all children are important to God. Our retiring director started as a board member and has been the director for fifteen years. We, as a board, look forward to what God has in store for the ministry moving forward. So what are we looking for? First, and most importantly, is that the Director must have a demonstrated love for Jesus Christ, be passionate about children and have a sense of God’s calling to mission of children’s ministry.
