Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, well-organized, and Part-Time Personal Assistant to support the Owner of Proteus Wines and Vineyard with both personal and business-related responsibilities. This dynamic role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a vineyard environment, handling administrative tasks, running errands, and collaborating with the broader management team on marketing and development projects.
This position is primarily onsite and involves both office-based and outdoor work at the vineyard. Flexibility is offered within the required 10–20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support to the Owner with day-to-day tasks, including scheduling, email correspondence, and errands
Assist with light vineyard and winery-related tasks as needed
Help coordinate the creation of marketing, sales, and development materials with the internal team and external vendors
Manage and track tasks across multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met
Maintain confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism in all matters
Serve as a liaison between the Owner and other team members to ensure smooth communication and workflow
Support occasional event planning, guest hospitality, or wine club coordination
Qualifications
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tasks independently
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Tech-savvy and comfortable with email platforms, shared calendars, and basic document creation
Able to maintain a warm, kind, and professional demeanor at all times
Comfortable working in both office and outdoor vineyard environments
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
Preferred Experience
Prior administrative or personal assistant experience
Familiarity with winery operations, hospitality, or marketing is a plus
Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, or project management platforms is helpful
