Rosedale Friends Church Pastor

Rosedale Friends Church in Salem Oregon is seeking energetic, dynamic, and spirit filled
candidates who are interested in a position as our pastor. The ideal candidate should
have previous pastoral experiences in ministering alongside a small, mostly rural
congregation with experience in identifying ways to improve spiritual health and
outreach.

Jesus Christ known to those around us and to reach out to people who need His love
and salvation.
Rosedale Friends Church currently has a part-time pastor who is planning to retire in
the Fall of 2024. He has provided us with a loving and caring spirit and has been
working shoulder to shoulder with our congregation and with the NWYM as we have
been working through a revitalization process. We have made good progress, however,
we continue to be in transition and seek a pastor who is willing and able to work
alongside our congregation to diligently serve God. We are attempting to rebuild our
ministries and become more outwardly focused.

Rosedale Friends Church is seeking a pastor whom God has called, to join us as we
work together to share Christ’s message of love and His salvation. The Elders desire
candidates who God has prepared to fulfill His ministry at Rosedale Friends Church.
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualities.
 A person full of the Holy Spirit, faith, God’s Word, prayer, and love for God and
people.
 A person with strong preaching skills.
 A person with a vision for church revitalization.
 A person with thorough training in Bible studies, Christian ministries, or related
fields.
 A person who knows how to equip and empower others.
