The Jr. Web Developer will be a critical contributor in advancing the DCI digital experience. This position is responsible for supporting the Sales & Marketing team in achieving its strategic business initiatives, works in a fluid, fast-paced environment where the ability to multitask and prioritize requests requires a strong focus on customer service. It involves collaborating with the team, self-motivated and problem-solving with attention to detail and accuracy. Position will be onsite in Newberg, Oregon.
Responsibilities
Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages.
Maintain and improve website, apps and integrated technologies.
Developing based off responsive design for multiple screen sizes for optimized solutions.
Collaborate with technical team members and web designers to improve usability.
CMS authoring for both copy and media assets.
Technology documentation could include functional requirement documents, guides and training.
Create quality mockups and prototypes.
Assist developers(internal/external) with coding and troubleshooting.
Ensure high quality graphic standards and brand consistency.
Stay up to date on emerging technologies.
QA and testing all applications.

Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a Front-end developer
Hands on experience with markup languages
Experience with JavaScript, CSS and jQuery
Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
Understanding of layout aesthetics
Knowledge of SEO principles
Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and content management systems
Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Minimum 1-3 years of experience.
