Part-time care needed/$26 per hour

Christian family seeking part-time care in the Clackamas/Happy Valley area for our sweet 9-year-old son with special needs. This is a part-time position with a pay of $26/hour via direct deposit through our caregiving agency. This role would supervise and engage our son in his daily activities and assist him in reaching life-skill related goals. This includes supervising him at our home, working with his communication device, toileting, some community outings, and being his assigned "buddy" in a sensory room at our church on Sunday evenings. Training and support provided. This could be great experience for students studying psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, special education, social work, etc.

*Schedule needs:
Sunday: 4:30pm-8:30pm
Mon-Wed: 2:15pm-5:15pm
Occasional Fridays or Saturdays, based on your availability
*More hours can possibly be given if desired
*Opportunity for significantly more hours during school breaks and holidays if desired

Qualifications:
-The ideal candidate will be compassionate, reliable, punctual, responsible, and respectful
-Ability to adapt to changing situations and needs
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Valid driver's license
-Must have a smartphone and maintain cell service
-Previous experience working with autism and/or developmental disabilities is preferred
