Fun nanny needed part-time for 2 year old and 3 month old
About our family:
We are a family of 5 (dad, mom, 2 year old boy, 3 month old girl and a corgi) living in Newberg, Oregon. We need coverage on every Monday and on one Wednesday per month starting in the new year.
We enjoy spending time outside, we limit screen time, and we focus on learning through play and reading. A normal weekday generally starts with a walk, a trip to the park, and reading our favorite books.
Work Details:
- Every Monday: from 7:30am-6pm
- One Wednesday a month from from 7:30am-6pm
- $24/hour
- Paid by direct deposit with taxes withheld
- Start date: 1/8/24
- Looking for commitment through 6/1/24. Open to longer commitment, but having the summer off is optional.
Experience & Education Requirements:
- 1 year relevant experience
- Prefer First Aid/CPR Certification
- Prefer some college
- Licensed and insured driver
Responsibilities:
- Day to day basic care of our kids (feeding, diaper changes / bathroom, organizing age related activities)
- General activity planning to guide age-appropriate learning
- Lots of reading, play and outdoor time
- Childs laundry including putting away
- Childs meal prep(lunch, snack)
- Tidying up of common and play areas, including living room, kitchen, nursery and play room
- Occasional vacuuming is appreciated during nap time, but not required
