Hello, I am Margaret Barry I am a General Manager at a local winery and a single mother. I am a full-time professional and proud parent of two rambunctious and amazing children aged 4- boy, and 6-girl. At this point in my professional career, I greatly need some help keeping up with my active kiddos. I am looking for someone who can do a bit of everything; pickup and take kids to/from school and sports practice, tidying up, meal prep and helping with homework 2-3 days per week from 2-6p.m. (Timing is flexible). My kids wouldn’t be disappointed with a spur-of-the-moment trip to the park or the zoo. My ideal hire loves to work with kids and is happy filling in for me on many parental duties while I’m working. I do travel occasionally for work and will need some overnight care if that is something that works for both of us.
About Our Family
Nestled in a quiet corner of Newberg, I enjoy the outdoors, wine tasting, sports, music, gardening, and I also like to sit back and relax when I’m not working. On a typical day, I work from 9-5:30 from the winery with the ability to work at home when necessary. The kiddos leave for school (a 10-minute drive away,) around 7:25 am, with activities after school from 3-6p.m. a few days a week. They love to play outside, ride bikes, have dance parties, cook, swim and play at the park.
